Meet Our Artist Collective
Along with our in-house design and illustration team, we are honored to partner with these wonderful artists, each of whom brings their own unique style to our product line across multiple categories.

While out on a walk, a thought occurred to Vicki: "If birds can build nests, they could make hats!" With that thought in mind, Vicki Sawyer has been painting her whimsical animal scenes ever since. We have had the joy of collaborating with Vicki on a full line of paper products which have proven to be best sellers.

Hester & Cook is pleased to partner with Iain Hamilton and Maddy Hamilton's stationery line, Bewilderbeest. The married duo think life is more interesting when it’s absurd; whether that’s a fish in a top hat or an orange speaking Mandarin. With illustrations that are proudly a bit ridiculous, you're sure to find yourself laughingly lost in their work, just like us!

Elizabeth Foster
Elizabeth Foster is a painter, designer, and maker from Nashville, Tennessee, who now resides in South Carolina. Her colorful and imaginative paintings are reflections of her everyday experience transformed into modern folk tale. Her love of animals and storytelling inform each design she creates with sophisticated whimsy and charm. "I want my work to be infused with a sense of nostalgia, something new and magical, yet familiar. I pull my creative ideas from the things around me like music, conversations, and life's daily challenges. I let my paintbrush set the scene and my characters tell the story."

We’re excited to continue our tabletop collaboration with iconic English pottery brand, Burleigh, with the introduction of two new patterns: Blue Willow and Black Willow. The last pottery of its kind, Burleigh is where the best of British ceramic design and craft manufacturing is protected and celebrated.
Producing authentic, timeless tableware, Burleigh is handmade for a reason. With a rich and intricate history beginning and remaining in the home of English pottery, Burleigh have been proudly making earthenware since 1851.

We are thrilled to work with Janet Hill of Janet Hill Studio! Janet is an artist and writer living in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. She is author and illustrator of Miss Moon: Wise Words from a Dog Governess, Miss Mink: Life Lessons for a Cat Countess, and Lucy Crisp and the Vanishing House. Her work is both elegant, yet whimsical, often with an underlying narrative that instantly captures the imagination. Her painting style evokes a sense of nostalgia, mystery, humor and comfort.
