Art Crawl with Ryan Ghertner Pottery in Franklin, TN

Nashville potter Ryan Ghertner loves to connect through clay. He started throwing in a high school art class. From there the question wasn’t if he’d keep doing it, but how. He’s spent the last eight years creating his own studio space and exploring styles and techniques. Drawing inspiration from artists from across the world, as well as from across the street, Ryan’s style continues to evolve as he experiments with everything from coffee mugs, to giant bowls, to face vases. But at the end of the day, he’s still just a guy who loves a good cup of coffee.
